Military History Tours On Tour - Boer War in South Africa 9 June 2016
A leisurely start to our Wildlife Safari with Touch Africa Tours, leaving our hotel at 1000, we headed east. Lunch was at the beautiful village of Dullstroom where we had a filling crepe.
Then on to Hannah Lodge at Burgersfort where we were greeted by wildlife not far from the gate, just enough time to settle in before an evening game drive.
The game drive proved fruitful, Bekke our guide proving to be very knowledgeable. It is a pity that the zebras and buffalo appeared after the sun went down and it was too dark to photograph.
The evening meal was something very special, the kudu was cooked to perfection. All agreed it was one of the best meals they had eaten. Tomorrow we experience the Panorama route as we approach Kruger National Park.
