Military History Tours On TourThis service is provided to those who take part in a Military History Tour so that friends and relatives at home can follow the tour progress. The tour photos and stories will then remain on our website for at least two years so that when participants return, they can reminisce on line. To check this out, visit the TOUR ARCHIVE. Every day a report is published showing what the participants saw and did on the tour within 24 hours of it happening (dependent on the availability of an internet connection at the tour location). The story, photographs and in some cases short video clips are sent from the tour on a daily basis. During the tour, a special button will be active to send messages to family and friends. Simply click on the button, type out the message and it will be passed to the tour participants. The next or current tour calendars appear here, the tour dates are initially greyed out. When the grey turns to green the link will be active, simply activate the link, and check out what happened. Note that some pages are not complete when originally published, sometimes a later check will reveal they have been updated as more information is available. The Polygon Wood and Passchendaele Centenary Tour 2017 (France and Belgium) is currently covered.
Please Note that the tour message will be disabled when the tour is not in progress. Tour messages are passed to our tour guests at breakfast time every day. For emergency contact on tour, please call , please note this service does not have voice mail. Please note the time in France and Belgium when sending your message or making your call. The time in France and Belgium is: 5:31 hrs on 23 September 2017. The time shown is when you opened this page, refresh your page to update. |
