Military History Tours On Tour - Our Other ANZAC Day 1 May 2016
Today we left Flanders (Belgium) and headed back into France for our connection with the Eurostar Paris - London.
On our way through we paused a Messines to honour the New Zealand effort in liberating the town on 07 June 1917.
We then passed into France and visited the Phesant Wood Cemetery where those recovered from the mass grave now rest.
Our journey continued through to Paris and the Gare du Nord to drop off the vehicle at the station underground carpark and board the Eurostar for the train through the 'chunnel' to London.
Tomorrow we visit the Imperial War Museum and then enjoy some R and R before returning to Australia.
