A change of pace today with some members of the trip electing to visit Brugge for some shopping, and a visit to this historical city, while some elected to remain in Ieper for the day - shopping and viewing this Historical city.

After an early dinner, we visited the Menin Gate for the moving evening remembrance Ceremony, which is conducted every night.
Members of the tour laid wreaths and tour leader Ron Lyons was invited to read the ode. We met some Queensland school children who had won the Premier's Anzac Day award and one who played the Didgeridoo, making the service uniquely Australian in nature and memorable.
