After an early breakfast at the Albion Hotel, we headed for Calais and England.
Arriving at the ferry terminal, we farewelled Our driver Dominique, passed through customs and boarded. About half an hour after leaving, we sighted the white cliffs of Dover and soon afterwards tied up where our coach awaited.
Our trip North to London was enjoyable and uneventful until we approached the city centre. The annual May Day parade had caused the police to close a number of streets which slowed our progress and made for some tight squeezes with the coach.
We are now settled into the Pullman St Pancras for a couple of days of unstructured activity in London!
